In a fantasy world, a young woman named Claudia returns to her forest village to find it scarred by recent development to the surrounding land. She must walk the line between vengeance and justice, while learning to cope with change in helping her home. Alongside her is a mischievous goblin named Cyrie, who Claudia begrudgingly befriends, only to find they have (lycanthropic) problems of their own.
